EarthSavers Crew Mission Statement:
To protect and enhance the educational programs of the Environmental Studies Center and to create opportunities for environmental service and enrichment activities for students.
Formally known as the Junior Council, the EarthSavers Crew was first formed in the Fall of 2007 for middle and high school students interested in environmental science. In 2009, the Junior Council was reinvigorated and renamed the EarthSavers Crew. The Crew organizes and participates in a variety of community service projects that benefit the environment and the Environmental Studies Council. They meet monthly and are run by Volunteer Coordinators Nicole Weiler VanderWerf & Samantha Robertson.
Membership to the EarthSavers Crew is FREE and open to all students in grades 8 to 12. The Crew meets monthly, and T-shirts are available for $12. Interested in joining the Crew? Email [email protected]!
